AUSTRALIAN CUSTOMERS
We provide free Standard Shipping on all Australian orders over $200.00 (estimated delivery time 2 - 7 business days).
Standard Shipping costs $10.00 for orders under $200.00 (estimated delivery time 2 - 7 business days). 
Express Shipping is also available for a flat rate of $15.00 (estimated delivery time 1 - 3 business days).

NEW ZEALAND CUSTOMERS
We provide free DHL Express Shipping on all orders over $250.00 (Estimated delivery 2 - 5 business days).
DHL Express Shipping is available for a flat rate of $20.00 on all orders under $250.00 (estimated delivery time 2 - 5 business days).

AUTHORITY TO LEAVE
Our Express and Standard shipping is done with 'authority to leave'. This allows for your order to be left in a safe location when no one is at home. If the courier/Australia post deems that there is no safe location, the order will be brought to the nearest post office and a card left with further instructions on how to collect. 

Your order will be processed, packed and shipped from our Sydney warehouse within 24 hours (excluding weekends and public holidays).


Returns & Exchanges

FULL PRICED ITEMS
If you are not 100% happy with your order, you are welcome to a free return or free exchange (Australian customers only) on any full priced item within 14 days of receiving the item.
PROMOTIONAL SALE ITEMS
Promotional sale items are eligible for free returns or exchanges within 14 days of receiving the item.
FINAL SALE ITEMS
Item(s) purchased that are described as 'Final Sale' are not eligible for free returns but may be exchanged once for a different size or item of the same or greater price.

Australian customers must post your return order within 7 days of requesting a shipment label via our Australia Post portal. 
New Zealand customers must provide details of their return shipment to customercare@bondiborn.com, including tracking information within 7 days of requesting a return.
Any returns that do not meet the requirements of our returns policy, will not be accepted and no refund/exchange awarded. For more information, please see our Terms & Conditions.

 

Domestic Returns

If your purchase is eligible for a free return or exchange, simply click to request a return and enter your order details. The Australia Post returns portal is valid to Australian customers only.
If you are eligible for a free return or exchange, you will be provided with a prepaid shipping label. If there are costs involved with your return, we may deduct the amount off of your final refund or exchange. To be eligible for a refund or exchange:

  • Check that you are within BONDI BORN’s return policy time frame.
  • Keep the item(s) in new condition, free from marks and damage. Do not remove hygiene labels or swing tags.
  • Complete the return authorisation form provided in your order; citing your order number, the item(s) being returned and reason(s) for returning and including it in your return parcel.
  • If you wish to exchange an item, we recommend you first email customercare@bondiborn.com, with details of the garment you wish to have sent as a replacement. We can then confirm we have it in the size and colour you want and put it aside for you.

If you are unclear on any of these steps or have any questions, contact us. We will generally post your exchange order or process your refund within 24 - 48 hours of receiving your return, excluding weekends and public holidays. Funds may take up to 10 business days to appear in your account.

 

 

New Zealand Returns

Customers based in New Zealand, please email us at customercare@bondiborn.com or via the contact page on our website to initiate a return or exchange. Please cite your order number, the item(s) being returned and reason(s) for returning. Customers based in New Zealand are responsible for coordinating their return order to our warehouse in Australia in order to have it exchanged or refunded. To be eligible for a refund or exchange:

  • Check that you are within BONDI BORN’s return policy time frame.
  • Keep the item(s) in new condition, free from marks and damage. Do not remove hygiene labels or swing tags.
  • Complete the return authorisation form provided in your order; citing your order number, the item(s) being returned and reason(s) for returning and including it in your returns parcel.
  • If you wish to exchange an item, we recommend you first email customercare@bondiborn.com, with details of the garment you wish to have sent as a replacement. We can then confirm we have it in the size and colour you want and put it aside for you.
  • Within the next working day, we will email you confirmation of your request and provide full details on where to send the return.

NEW ZEALAND DUTIES & TAXES
From the 1st of December 2019, a goods and services tax (GST) of 15% will apply to all low value goods under NZ$1000 shipping to New Zealand customers. Tax will be calculated and applied at checkout. New Zealand customs will not impose any further taxes, duty or import entry fees on goods under NZ$1000.
If the total value of the package is over NZ$1000 however, New Zealand customs will still collect tariff duty (if applicable) as well as import entry fees. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient, directly to the New Zealand customs service or its authorised service provider. We are not able to offer a refund for returned goods, which are returned because the customer wishes to avoid paying any customs duties imposed.
When ordering from BONDI BORN, you agree to pay any Customs, Import Duty and Tax charges which may be imposed by the New Zealand government.
If you refuse to pay any Customs, Import Duty and Tax charges imposed and thereby prevent delivery of your order, you will remain liable for the purchase price of the product(s) and any Customs, Import Duty and Tax charges or penalty imposed by your government. We suggest that you contact your local customs/import/mail departments for rates before you place an order to avoid any surprises. We cannot guarantee that items will not be subject to random checks and cause associated delays and charges. BONDI BORN is not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes. Customs duties or taxes are not payable by BONDI BORN and you will not be reimbursed for any of GST, duties or taxes charges. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for more information. You can find more information by heading to the New Zealand customs website.

 

 

Refunds

At BONDI BORN you can return any full priced or promotional sale item for a full refund. Only returns where the item was paid for at full price, or as part of a promotional sale and are received by our warehouse within 14 days of receipt of the order, will be refunded. We will refund the amount you paid when you purchased the item(s) - this does not include sale items, read more above under 'Returns'. We will not refund any shipping costs. Any items that do not meet the requirements outlined in our Returns policy, will not be refunded. For example, items returned without their hygienic seal in place will not be refunded. All goods will be inspected on return. All returned items are your responsibility until they reach our HQ in Sydney, Australia - so make sure you re-package your swimwear properly and in its original packaging.   
We are not responsible for any items that are returned to us by mistake or without prior communication from you. It can take up to 7 business days (shipping may take longer than usual as Australia Post are at capacity due to COVID-19) for your returned item(s) to reach us in Sydney, Australia. We'll send you an email to let you know once it has been received and that your refund has been processed. Once your refund has been processed, depending on your card issuer, it can take up to 10 business days for the funds to be reflected in your account.
