BONDI BORN DINES OUT:
OUR TOP 10 FAVOURITE BONDI RESTAURANTS
A meal in Bondi is often an unforgettable combination of fresh fare, the ocean breeze, and views as beautiful as the residents themselves (OR ‘ a spot of ‘international’ or ‘first class’ people watching). Whether after a quick bite or a long, leisurely meal amongst old and new friends, we can count on these iconic, local spots to create an ambience that is entirely Bondi Born.
Here we share with our Top 10 Favourite Bondi Restaurants.
No trip to Bondi is complete without a visit to Icebergs. Start your Icebergs experience with a swim in the iconic ocean-pool, before moving on to enjoy world-class fare and the most sublime ocean views in Bondi. We love to grab a girlfriend and go for sunset drinks or round up the whole family and enjoy their seasonal Italian in their stunning glass dining room by the sea.
Ask any Bondi local they’re favourite brekky spot and they’re bound to say Speedos. What better way to start the day than watching the sun rise as the surf meets the shore, while sipping a strong flat white. We love their fluorescent smoothie bowls with scattered flower petals and their hearty brekky fare for the men in your life. Their fare is as divine to eat as it is to behold. See you at Speedos.
Fancy lunch on the beach? We head straight to Fish Bowl, Bondi’s premier poke bowl spot for their fresh fish atop warm brown rice and all the divine toppings your heart can imagine. We like to take our bowl straight to the beach, where we can enjoy our sashimi on the sand as the tide rolls in.
Bondi’s newest addition, Blanca brings Japanese Mediterranean to the table for a fresh combination of flavours that does not fail to delight. With its chic, black and white lacquered interior and array of small plates, we love to come here with a group and order everything from manchego brioche toasties to the best ramen outside of Japan. A night at Blanca will take you to new heights as you embrace Japanese Mediterranean as a new way of dining (or ‘life’ hehe).
